Controls up to 18 devices: The RM-AV3100 features direct hard button access to TV, Satellite, VCR, DVD, CD and AMP devices, with additional on-screen access to MD, Tape, Cable Box, LD, DAT and Lighting. Devices can be custom named on LCD screen.
Preprogrammed codes: already "knows" the command functions for components of most major brands without tedious manual programming Includes a database with more than 500 non-Sony preprogrammed codes for all major brands. Copy one remote to another: The entire remote or individual functions can be learned from another remote.
Infrared code learning: The RM-AV3100 can learn nearly 1000 infrared codes from other remote controls onto any buttons, ranging up to 500kHz in frequency and 300 bits in length.
45 macro functions: Lets you program sequences of up to 44 commands; for example, a single macro can set up repeatable sequences for your DVD Player, Television and A/V Receiver with the touch of a button.
4 unique macro functions: 15 system control macros, 18 component macros, 12 timer macros, and key macros.
Supports 53 commands per device: The RM-AV3100 includes 13 configurable hard buttons per device, 28 LCD squares and 3 pages of 4 LCD buttons with customizable text labels. Hard keys include volume, channel and 7 menu-access buttons.
Large LCD touchscreen: Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) touch-pad shows only the relevant controls; enables you to control hundreds of functions with large, easy-to-use virtual buttons. The RMAV3100 has possibility of 258 label chooses on LCD screen. You can remove any unused buttons from LCD display.
Alias Key: Memorizes functions of other components while on the active screen. Multiple components utilize the alias function to create one screen that provides the ability to control multiple devises easily.
Automatic backlight: The RM-AV3100 includes a bright blue LCD backlight that can automatically activate on any button press. Also has two brightness levels and auto-off times adjustable from 1 to 60 seconds.
Includes programmable menu control, clock and timer function.
Volume override: Allows all devices to control either the television or amplifier's volume controls.
Memory backup: Maintains settings even when batteries are removed.
